📅 ARP ka hisaab
- Advance Reservation Period (ARP) typically 60 din pehle khulti hai — journey date chhod ke — subah 8:00 AM IST.
- 6 Oct 2026 tak lagbhag 5 Dec tak ki journeys ka ARP khul chuka hai. Diwali / Chhath return tickets abhi plan karwa lo, last week panic se pehle.
- Opening day pe online booking ke liye Aadhaar-verified IRCTC account zaroori hai. Customer ka profile pehle se ready rakhein — naam, Aadhaar, ID, passengers.
🚆 Alternate trains
- Regular train full hai? Festival specials check karo. Aksar inmein availability baad tak dikhti hai — guaranteed nahi.
- Nearby stations try karo. Example: Delhi cluster NDLS / ANVT / Shakur Basti; Mumbai cluster CSMT / LTT.
- Thoda pehle ya baad ki date suggest karo. Same-day berth chase se better plan hai.
⏳ Waitlist / RAC strategy
- RAC pe travel allowed hai. RAC aksar chart tak confirm ho jaata hai — hamesha nahi.
- Fully waitlisted e-ticket chart ke baad auto-cancel hota hai aur refund process IRCTC rules se aata hai. Customer ko pehle bata do.
- First chart: 5:00–14:00 ke beech chalne wali trains ka chart pichhli raat 9 PM tak; baaki trains ka roughly departure se ~8 ghante pehle. Times shift ho sakte hain — live IRCTC chart follow karo.
🔁 VIKALP option lo
- Waitlist booking pe VIKALP opt karo. Max 7 alternate trains.
- Alternate train original departure ke 30 min se 72 ghante ke beech ki ho sakti hai.
- Confirmation guaranteed nahi. Boarding / destination nearby cluster station ho sakta hai — customer ko cluster samjha do.
- Booked ticket history se baad mein (chart se pehle) bhi opt kar sakte ho.
⚡ Tatkal reminder
- Tatkal journey se 1 din pehle khulta hai: AC 10:00 AM IST, Non-AC 11:00 AM IST.
- Authorised agents: AC 10:30 ke baad, Non-AC 11:30 ke baad.
- Diwali (8 Nov 2026) journey ka Tatkal 7 Nov ko khulega. Calendar lock karke customer ko reminder bhej do.

- Return ARP dates abhi note karo — Diwali / Chhath pair.
- Customer IRCTC account Aadhaar-verified hai ya nahi, pehle confirm.
- Primary + 2 alternate trains + nearby stations list ready.
- Waitlist / RAC / VIKALP ka realistic script: “confirm nahi, inventory decide karti hai.”
- Tatkal 7 Nov (Diwali 8 Nov) pe authorised-agent timing follow.
